DON'T DO IT!!! Clearly this rating is done overseas and not real ratings because there's only 15 comments but yet they have a higher score than four stars. I got my packs of capes I haven't even used one on a client but I did wash them because just like another comment said they need to be washed because they smelled. I pulled it out of the dryer I had capes that were torn, I had capes that were missing parts of the velcro, the velcro is already coming off of where it's supposed to be sitting and I still haven't used any of the capes that I just purchased on a client. And if I washed it wrong, I wouldn't know because there were no directions in the packaging or on the capes to let me know how to wash them. So I wash them the way I wash all my other capes. 1st wear the bib in the front for applying make up, to keep your clothes free of make up when applying.2nd wear the bib in the back for doing your hair everyday. You will no longer have to pick the hair off of your clothes before leaving the house. Very nice capes for what I need to use them for. Cons- they have a very bad smell that doesn't come out with regular washing. I used baking soda & vinegar and after 3 washes, the smell left. Please note the smell comes back slightly when wet. Overall the quality is good. Read more

These capes are extremely small, and it’s impossible to fasten the Velcro closure without getting hair caught in the velcro. I’ve tried fastening it in front and in back, but it doesn’t fasten without catching hair or clothing in the velcro strips. Read more
