I purchased the square one and it is very clear. The optics are really good. It goes from normal to three times magnification. It stands no matter what angle you tilt the mirror. If you're looking for a makeup mirror for home or travel, just make sure that you look at the size of the mirror. Some of them look big but they're not. This one is a good size and I'm looking forward to using it while I travel. Read more

Closer look at this vanity mirror did not impress me. Though I like the concept of the bamboo stand and the rabbeted connections on wood sides to bottom, I found the finishing on the wood seem to be lacking. Inside the stand is a 2 sided mirror ( 1 & 3X) which can rotate 360 degrees but the white plastic frame holding it looks very cheap and can see how roughly mirror was set into it. The screws that hold the rotating mirror on one side were coming loose and had to be tightened so the mirror stayed in position you set it. It is freestanding, not tippy, portable and not too small or too large to be used as vanity mirror.. We put this one on dresser in spare bedroom in case a guest might need one. Overpriced considering its overall quality and would not consider getting another. Read more
