It's narrow, so not as good as the one I usually use for my back that is larger and covers the entire area.But for a more targeted pain area, this will do.Pad is soft, control is easy, and it doesn't take too long to heat up. Heat isn't as high as the one I prefer but it is still on par with most out there, not really bad like a few I tried that barely got warm.Price isn't too steep for what you get either. Read more
I don’t take anything for pain relief, but rather opt for things like hot water bottles and heating pads. On the other hand, using either option also is comfortable, even when I’m not experiencing any pain. This heating pad is a bit smaller than some we have, but at 12” x 24” it’s a very good size. Another thing I love is the fact that I can select the temperature level I want and the length of time I want to use the heating pad. This one has a convenient digital display that’s very responsive and easy to use.The color of this heating pad is a lovely navy blue. The one I use daily is quite similar to this one. I have to launder the other ones every now and then. This heating pad can be laundered and instructions are in the user manual. The pad itself is a soft and cushy microplush polyester. When I use a heating pad, it’s a super comfortable experience. It was very well-made without a thread out of place. It has piping around the edges to keep it from unraveling.I experimented by trying it by working with the very responsive control, which is easy to use. The heat was fast and hot, something I love. No waiting a couple of minutes for it to heat up. Lately I’ve mostly been using a heating pad for comfort, not pain. When I worked with the control, it was quite easy to see what was going on. The cord was long, enabling me to plug it in and use it on a bed.
