Honestly, I'm using these for the ear loops on face masks. I have been using the 2mm ones, but can't find them anywhere now. I've been avoiding 4mm, as they are a little bit too thick. Ponytail holders are like socks so I was not expecting much, but these are bad. They're essentially one time wear and then the elasticity is shot. They also are a thicker band then they look as I was hoping to get the smaller ones for braids, but when these came I figured I would just use them for ponytails and buns...I just keep having to grab a new one each time because the old ones feels worse than my well used ponytail holders. the elastics are perfect for stashing places. I was able to split them up between work home my car and purse there are so many. I’ll be good no matter where I go! The elastics individually are just okay. They’re not super elasticy like they’ll probably be stretched out after 5 wears or so but hey there’s enough to last quite a mile anyway. These are fantastic hair elastics! So glad they are offered in Blonde. There were a few reviews in the past saying they broke easily, but that apparently is no longer true as they are extremely strong. I have medium long, very fine hair, but I have quite a bit of it. The best part for me is that these stretch to approximately 11 inches (if necessary). This is critical for many of my various messy bun techniques because I need to do three twists of the band. All of the other 2-3 mm name brand elastics sold in any of the stores in my area don't stretch enough. Even better? If you don't want or need them to stretch that far or don't need to do three twists for your style, they still do a great job at holding with only two twists. Summary: For those folks who have thin/fine hair and want an elastic to twist several times (3+) these are the elastics for you. Thick haired folks would probably do well with only two twists. The first day I wore these hair elastics, they stretched out. Like the other reviews mentioned, you don’t have to pull these very tight to get a strong hold. I was so disappointed to see that in the first 13 hours of use in my braids that both had already stretched out showing the elastic through the threads with a large gap of space imbetween. I love love love these. They are just the right "blonde" color - meaning they are not brown. It's kind of a beige color in my opinion - I see a very very slight pink tinge (my opinion). No tearing or pulling out hair as there are no metal pieces. They are thin - but not too thin and not the super thick ponies either - so you can use in more ways - different hair styles. I find them the "just right" place. You get a whole bunch of them too (100) - which is good because with all elastic - eventually, with time and heavy use, they lose a bit of their stretch. I’m not sure what all the bad reviews are here either. I was looking for a bunch of blonde elastics similar to the ones that I buy from Wal Mart or a grocery store. These are it! They are a little darker blonde than my hair, but it didn’t have to be perfect. Maybe people buy hair ties from salons and they top quality? These are perfect for me. I do have fairly thin hair and have to wrap it a few times but nothing more than what I’m used to. Read more

First one I took out of packaging and it snapped, second later with the second one same thing, and then the third. Is this the sort of product I’m to expect for the money I have paid. I understand the value of cheap but this is taking the mickey. All have Snapped instantly. Happy to return them. Absolute waste of hard earned money. Perfect. This is the exact type of hair band that I wanted and is best for my hair type. I’m a black girl with 4a - 4b hair (natural hair) and it’s very thick in certain places. I’m yet to try it out but using thin NOT thick bands are a whole lot more ideal. Alright bands but cheap is cheap for a reason. So of them have way too much stretch and need wrapping about 8 times, some don't have enough and you can barely get round twice, some ive tried to put on and they've literally just snapped. They are workable and you get a lot in a pack but next time I'd just invest in some better ones. Read more

Yesss!!! These bobbles are the best - my hair is very thick, I usually can only get a bobble around my hair twice before it snaps on the third attempt but with these I have to use two to ensure the tightness and I can put two bobbles in my hair 3 times - no snapping - doesn't sound like a lot but trust me!! If you have thick hair then buy these (granted you need to use more than one at a time for a high pony) Plus there's loads of them in a packet - I will purchase them again when, knowing me, I've lost them all! :) Thanks!!!
