I contracted pinkeye and had to throw out the coincidentally brand new mascara and other make up I had just purchased. I used q tips for putting on eye shadow and eyeliner - which was only adequate. I could not wear mascara. Then after treatment was completed I got new make up once again, After 4 days I had a relapse and had to throw out all eye makeup again! No bacteria spreading. It's kind of dirty when you think of it to keep sticking the same wand into a product and using on such a sensitive area as an eye.
