100 applicators won't do any good if they do not absorb or apply the shadow properly. I'd rather go back to paying $4 for 2 Covergirl applicators than get 100 of these for the price paid. These are very stiff and not at all spongy like you'd get from Sallys or a drugstore eyeshadow palette. They're made of a non-porous material that is okay for doing very detailed things like lining but not at all useful for spreading eyeshadow across the whole lid. Maybe if you had a lot of patience, you could pat it on with the broad sides, but unless you had a tiny, tiny lid, it would take forever.I can get use out of the pointy sides for lining, but I wouldn't purchase again. I don't know how these would be useful for anyone looking to do anything other than line or do very precise applications in tiny spots, like a stripe of shimmer along the center of the lid. Better than expected quality. Pads are attached firmly and feel soft, work great. Reusable for a long time, 100 will last forever. I initially washed them in soapy water which got rid of the product smell in packaging. Slightly too long for one brand of eye shadow case but that’s not a deal breaker. Read more

Quality makeup wands - first ones on Amazon OR in stores that I've found that are Thick, Sturdy, REALLY work. NOTE: Too long for the typical shadow case. Sharp scissors easily cut off the foam on the pointy end, leaving NON-sharp edge of a wand that now fits a tiny square shadow case. Read more

working in the beauty industry, there is a special place in my heart for eyeshadow applicators. Certain glitter or loose pigments just pick up and deposits so much more beautifully with a sponge over a brush.These eyeshadow applicators, however, are made out of some type of rubbery material that does not pick up eyeshadow as smoothly or deposit as properly as sponge. Therefore they are difficult to pick up product, cause a lot of fallout, and drag along the lid.
