I usually find powder foundations to be way too light on coverage and needing frequent application. But I can use this one alone, without any other concealer, liquid foundation, or setting spray and it covers small blemishes well and stays on most of the day. Would definitely recommend.- If I'm at work I do not need to re-apply, but if I plan to wear longer than 9 hours I do re-apply.- Also, this smudges off easily - to some extent with a tissue but more so with water. Good for removal, but not so great if you cry, blow your nose more than once, get caught in a rain storm, etc.- One of the best parts about this is that it has safe ingredients and is cruelty-free. The Skin Deep Cosmetics Database (safety database through EWG) rates this very safe for your skin and body.- After more than 15 years of various liquid foundation + pressed powder combinations, I now use this exclusively. So happy to be done with liquid foundation.- I do break out occasionally but my skin is fairly smooth. For larger blemishes you may still want to use a concealer. Overall though after many years of acne-prone skin I have been impressed with this powder foundation.- It does not make me break out. Or leave me oily. I bought this product based on a recommendation from Lucky Vitamin. As they didn't have this exact color, I purchased it from Amazon.The product is very light, no scent, and goes on very evenly. Covers very well and after several minutes settles and melts into the skin as expected, leaving a natural, more even-toned appearance. I apply it before I head to work and that is all. Lasts all day. I have used both the sponge application it came with as well as a foundation brush and the foundation works well with both applications. I may try a shade lighter next time, but am pleased with the D-7 coverage and tone. Based on usage, not every day, I think this product may last up to a year. Obviously more heavy usage will go through the product more quickly, but I have found that a lighter touch creates a nicer finish with mineral foundation over heavy application. Read more

It took me awhile to realize that it was my makeup that was irritating my face. I was looking at facial cleansers and even my diet. My favorite makeup product! I don't really wear much makeup other than this powder foundation, since this is all I really need. The color matches my skin perfectly, and gives a nice glow. I love that it is really all natural, too. My skin is somewhat oily, and this helps control shine while evening skin tone. It's a buildable foundation, but I don't have to apply much in order to get nice coverage. It does wear off a bit during the day, but it's easy and quick to reapply if you want to (I never bother, since it's not too noticeable unless you're sweating a lot of something). It is more expensive than some drugstore brand foundations, but I am willing to pay a little more for a good, natural product. A compact usually lasts me about 3-4 months of daily use. Read more

I've been using this for years and it does a great job of smoothing out the coloring of my skin as well as minimizing any oily look. At the time I started buying this it was to purchase an item that didn't have problematic ingredients. My compact arrived with a small hairline crack in it that I didn't see right away when it arrived. After using it for about 7-10 days it started to crumble and turn to loose powder. This compact is not cheap and I was very disappointed to have to throw it away. I wont purchase it online again with the risk of getting damaged/cracked in the delivery process. Read more

I really liked this pressed powder when I received it. Very nice light coverage and it looked nice on the skin, not dry and flakey. However after I just had this for a short time, it started cracking and crumbling. I never dropped it or took it out of the house, so there is no reason why it should do that, IMO. Read more
