Yes, allergic reaction to toothpastes is a real thing. The insides of my cheeks had sloughed off for years after brushing. Dummy me didn't put two and two together until a hygienist I complained to told me it was typical of a allergic reaction to a ingredient in tooth paste that is to long for me to spell much less pronounce. This toothpaste has served to relieve me of that reaction as well as taken care of my dislike of strong peppermint flavor while still giving me fresh breath with a much lower dose of those flavors. It contains the same amount of cavity fighting ingredients as adult toothpastes so it is a win win for me. I hope they never stop making this flavor, as I cannot stand sweet flavors such as strawberry or bubblegum which is normally found in children's toothpastes. I am in my 60's and yes, I require this children's strength of MILD MINT over adult over powering mint. Read more
We use this toothpaste for our 6 year old son and he really likes it. He doesn't like the berry and bubblegum flavored toothpastes out there so we tried this one and he liked it. Then it started getting hard to find in our local stores so I found this 6-pack on Amazon and was happy to see that the price often drops to a what would equal 6 tubes from our local store (if they stocked it). It is really handy to have extra on hand when you run out so I like getting the 6 pack. We have never recieved broken or popped tubes, they have always been in perfect condition. I like the toothpaste itself but the lid is WAY to hard to open. It needs to be redesigned. My 4 year old can’t open it himself and sometimes I even have a hard time opening it! Bad design Read more
The package was ripped, but luckily all items were still in the envelope.Regarding the product: my kids love this taste of this toothpaste. Unfortunately, I can’t get it at any of my stores anymore. Great product. If my teeth weren't sensitive, I'd use this product too. This toothpaste has fluoride yet does not have saccharin which is baaaad! I've looked at all other kids toothpaste at Target and other stores but could not find this easily. Finally I tried Amazon and was so happy to find it. Son loves the flavor (he doesn't like too minty kind but this is pretty mild yet refreshing). Read more
My daughter is 11 and uses this every day. She has reactions to the foaming agents in a lot of different toothpastes, so years ago, the dentist recommended using Tom's to prevent sores in her mouth. When she got a little older, she wanted something besides the fruit flavors. We like being able to have a toothpaste she doesn't react to, but also has a minty flavor she likes. Read more
