Xylitol might be the answer, but not for this gum. The taste of the cinnamon I purchased lasted approximately 5 minutes, then the gum is just gum with little to no taste. The chicklets are hard, and definitely not for me! Read more
Grandkids love this gum. I wish it was more widely available. It is a shame that all gum sold in stores contain aspartame. Kids especially do not need to consume this chemical, which reportedly can affect their brain. Sad companies choose to use harmful additives. Read more
I used this gum initially when I was suffering with sensitive teeth and tooth aches. It worked very well but it did not actually heal or permanently resolve the oral issues I experienced with my teeth. I learned through a youtube.com video is that it's best to leave your teeth alone. Basically, when I started swishing my mouth with water after every meal (wonderful if you sit at a desk like me and can't brush) I experienced healing in my my teeth. I stopped purchasing all the tooth pastes and gels (natural or other), mouth washes and rinses and now only brush may once per day with baking soda. Baking soda also remedied my abcess. All my oral pain and sensitivity issues are gone due to leaving my teeth alone as much as possible so the natural minerals could stay on my teeth. So, Spry is good in an emergency situation but long term gum chewing is not good for our teeth because our teeth and gums don't get the rest it deserves if we are always chewing; so use moderately and allow your teeth to remineralize, naturally. I am a sucker for peppermint flavoured gum. It's the only flavour I will opt for. I had only tried the brand PUR so far but they were out of stock at the moment. So I was motivated to look for alternatives and I was not disappointed with my purchase. I was a bit apprehensive about the natural peppermint flavour because I have tried it in some other natural foods and it can get very pungent. However I was relieved to find that the peppermint flavour is quite pleasant in this gum. I also like the fact that it comes in a small hard-plastic pillbox that is easy to carry around and pop out to share. It is a bit pricey, probably because of the packaging, so I may not buy it when my regular brand is back but it will do for now. Read more
