These work great for vinyl weeding! Better than the silhouette tools and so much cheaper! Read more

Good value for a 5 piece set. Only thing I wish it came with little silicone tips because the ends of the probes are sharp. This or a plastic carrying case should make it better. Unfortunately I learned the hard way by poking a hole in my equipment bag. You win some, you lose some. I found if you want to make a DIY improv solution for the tips yourself if you get any new stereo equipment the ends of speaker wires usually come with a plastic tip to keep the wires from fraying. These fit perfectly over the probes. Besides the lack of silicone tips or a carrying case, it is 5 stars. If they come back with a set with silicone tips or a case for a similar price I may repurchase. But for now, 4 - 4.5 stars. Everything is good besides that. Good value compared to similar products. Item is exactly as pictured. Be aware that the case isn't very protective of the sharp points on the tools. The case is only a thin plastic sleeve with slots/pockets to hold the tools separate from each other at the bottom. It has no closure. My suggestion is to put them in a hard plastic pencil box or something similar. That said, for the price of these, what do you expect? The tools seem sturdy enough. I guess time will tell as to how well they hold up. They are only going to be used for weeding paper and vinyl, so they won't be subjected to any heavy force. I expect they will last quite a while. I read good reviews about them when used for the purpose I mentioned, so this is why I bought them. For the price, if they don't last, another set wouldn't break the bank. Read more

I got these to use as tools to poke out those little "hanging chads" when I do paper die-cutting and to clean the dies. They work great and it's nice to have more than one so I can keep them in convenient locations in my crafting room. All of the set arrived in good condition, no problems. I'm sure as time goes on I'll find other uses for them, since those little points can get into very small spaces. Read more

This set is perfect for using with vinyl. I use the probes to weed the excess vinyl from my projects. The ends have bent a little from use over time, but for the price, I didn't expect perfection. I would definitely recommend to anyone who works with vinyl. Read more

I don't get to the dentist much. An idea cleaning schedule for me in all honestly would be about every 4 months. I get one a year so these come in handy in the meantime. I have calcium/tartar deposits that can rebuild in a matter of 2 weeks whether I brush my teeth twice a day or not (don't ask me how I know) so finding a way to maintain a better clean between visits is important to me.The only thing I would add to this set is some kind of flatter one, but oh well. I still love the set! They are also good for sculpting. I haven't "probed" anything else with them though since I am not a dentist, and wouldn't know what I am "probing" for anyway if I were to stick these in my gums. Read more

I've owned this set since Sept. '08. These probes are decent. I use them primarily for cleaning tight spaces, such as: scraping gunk out of crevices, clearing lint stuck in headphone jacks, clearing dirt from under my fingernails (carefully, of course!), and a myriad of other uses. They're sharp as all hell, come with rubber protective tips, and a cheap plastic case (which I recommend replacing with anything else). The big problem I have was with rust. The handle plating is kind of shoddy and rusted fairly easy in some spots, but ONLY on the handle. The tips are still pretty sharp and have shown no signs of rust.To cut it short, these are cheap-handled, well-tipped probes for hobbies and such. Don't expect medical or dental quality, you should be paying more for that. Read more

These pieces are strong and durable for something that isn't their intended purpose. They're able to get into tight spots inside computers/phones to clean out ports and pry things from some spots. Obviously, it can't handle bending metal or anything like that, but it works great for debris Read more

Only giving 3 stars as I didnt like how they felt in my hand. I may just be too used to the wider version that is more penlike. These list were not comfortable for me, they are also quite heavy so it was awkward to hold Read more

The picks feel well made with a nice overall weight, the point are smooth and sharp. Very useful for cleaning and reaching into tight places. However, the knurling is next to useless. It's not sharp at all and does not provide any traction when holding the tool. Would have been a perfect tool if the knurling was more aggressive. Read more
