My hair is brittle and somewhat thin, and I get dandruff every now and then after having taken strong medication when I was a kid. I've been struggling to restore my hair and scalp. Most products do me bad, but this one does no damage and makes my hair look shinnier. Helps with frizzing and smells nice too. I don't think it does much for the health of my hair, in relation to thiness and brittleness, but it doesn't give me any bad reactions like other hair products have. It also seems to last and it doesn't change in scent throughout the day (I feel some hair products smell great initially but after a day's activities, change and might even smell bad--not this one). I was using their coconut oil before but switched to this one (because it was making my dandruff get worse) and I'm not going back! I bought this product twice now and I Love how it makes my scalp feel and it is a light but long lasting moisturizer. I would definitely buy this again. I have thin hair and I struggle with my edges so I cut off all my hair and I am starting again this Tea Tree oil really helps with the key element of more and more moisture. This really smells like tea so if you do not like the smell of fresh tea leaves don't get this product because it has a very strong but fresh scent of tea. I'm currently wearing a protective weave style because my hair has been thinning. Weaves make my scalp itch terribly and I hated the smell of the different medicated hair oils that my beautician used to stop the itch. I purchased this product because I believe one of the ingredients is menthol. This hair oil has a light clean fragrance, it's very soothing and on the scalp and upon initial application I could feel a nice light tingling/cooling sensation. I'm giving it 4 stars because it did not completely eliminate all of the itch. Certain areas of my scalp itched a little (it's possible that I may have needed a heavier coating), but I don't have to "beat the weave" for relief and I love the way the hair smells. Tea tree oil is supposed to help itchy scalp, this does not. It's thick and greasy (but not in a bad way, if that makes any sense). I'm using it to calm down frizzy hair and that's about all I can think to do with it since it doesn't help with itch. This is not an 'oil' in the way we usually think of it - ie, it's not liquid, it's a thick paste, like cold coconut oil or soft-ish butter. Read more

I bought this because I do not like how dandruff shampoos dry my hair out. I rub a very small amount of this on my scalp after shampoo & conditioning while my hair is still wet. It has a very mild clean fresh scent (evergreen?) and I do not even notice it after my hair dries. I found that if I put it on while my hair is dry or if I use too much my hair looks dirty and very flat so don't use too much! My scalp is still a bit dry but not as bad as it used to be. Read more
