They're little mints in a tin shaped like a Nintendo controller. Anyone that complains about the mints, is clearly playing the wrong game. If you buy this expecting some, super, awesome, mind blowing, jaw dropping, new, extreme, mint experience. You're buying the wrong mints. Go buy whatever that new fad flavor of the month is. Don't buy these. These mints are for people, that don't really care about the mints. That's right, I said it. The mints aren't anything special. However! The special thing about these mints, is the tin they're packaged in. It not only has the nostalgic look of a classic Nintendo controller, but its buttons are actually raised slightly as well. Better than I thought after reading the reviews. Since everyone complained about the mints inside, I purchased for the container as a gift and planned on putting something else in it. However, the mints aren't that bad. Yeah they are kind of light on flavor but they are still minty. Perfect for a kid who might not need something stronger. The mints have absolutely no taste. I mean literally zero taste. I’ve never had mints like this before, but that’s ok because I really only ordered it because of the awesome case. To me the cost was worth it for the quality of the case which I will keep and use with my altoids. But if you’re getting this for the actual mints, looks elsewhere lol. Read more

This product came right on time and packaged very well. My only issue is that I was under the impression that this box had some kind of three-dimensional aspet to it, like the buttons were raised up...but it doesn't. It's just a small metal box that has a controller picture on it. My fault for not reading the description well enough, I guess. To its credit, it does look great and doesn't look cheap. These are awful and not mint. They taste like the stick in Fun Dip, but someone left it sitting next to a pack of gum so it picked up the slightest after taste of mint. My son was so disappointed with this stocking stuffer. But the Nintendo can is nice so I will keep Altoids in it for him. Read more
