First of all, the name of this sunscreen mentions that it is oxybenzone free which it is not, mine clearly has oxybenzone in the ingredients on the back. Second, it has a white cast on the face which I can't really stand. Third, it crumbles and "pills" on the face, and my friends always notice and tell me hey, you've got white stuff all over your face. Lol. Smh. So I don't think I will use this anymore. This is my all time favorite sunscreen for my face. It is part of my daily morning routine now and it's just so nice on my face. I often don't wear foundation with it because it gives such a nice dewy look. I save it for my face and use other, cheaper sunscreen on my body. As someone who is very fair skinned, daily sunscreen has become a requirement for me and this is the perfect, light sunscreen that fits the bill. I haven't burned yet! I have fair skin (Scottish extraction) and my dermatologist requires me to wear sunblock to prevent any further damage that might lead to skin cancer.I’ve used other high UV products in the past, but this one seems to be the best from the standpoint of ease of application, sheerness and scent. It’s basically “unscented” - there’s a faint scent that is pleasant, pretty neutral and fades fast. It absorbs quickly. Okay I read so many reviews this sunscreen was recommended by many, it does it’s job (sun protection obv) but definitely not for a poc. Leaves a white cast and leaves behind all these little balls of residue as you attempt to blend it out. You can’t really use it with other products either or you’ll get the same little peeling affect. On the general area of my cheeks you can’t see it as much but all around the frame of my face it’s very visible. I guess it’s best for a beach day not an everyday sunscreen. Keep in mind my complexion is pretty light I have the lightest tan imaginable. Has a pretty normal sunscreen smell. Now I must rave about the Paulas Choice Extra Care non greasy sunscreen it has spf 50, blends in perfectly, easily buildable, leaves no white residue of any kind, it’s finish honestly depends on your skin type for me it leaves a glowy non greasy finish. It has 5fl oz and retails for $17, although paulas choice usually has sales going on, I mean it’s so good it’s out of stock as I write this review! That’s approximately $3.40 per flounce. As an African American, it's hard finding a high SPF sunscreen that doesn't make my dark skin look grey. This sunscreen is great because it doesn't make my face look grey and blends right in! It's also a very lightweight formula - after rubbing it in all the way, you can't really tell you're wearing anything which is GREAT for my oily skin. I have been on medication for my acne since November 2017, and despite some road bumps along the way, I had reached a point where I was consistently happy with my progress for at least 6 months. As summer is approaching and I was running out of my previous Neurogena suncream (Clear Skin range), I decided to try this owing to the non-greasy, dry-touch promise, which I believed would lead to a matte look with makeup. However, this product has caused a massive break out, undoing not only my acne progress but also my scar progress, and has caused some serious new scarring and redness, to the point where I look as red as sun burn without makeup on. It’s also quite greasy feeling under my makeup, leading to a shiny look, so I think I’ll switch back to the Clear Skin range - I’ve found the “dry-touch” to be as greasy as my previous sun cream, which at least didn’t cause increased spots.
