The media could not be loaded.  This lamp is amazing. Aside from the fact that it’s a 100% accurate 3D moon (!!!!!), it’s incredibly versatile for lighting purposes. The full range of colors available is great (I’m partial to the yellow and orangeish yellow), the battery lasts 4 hours on full brightness, and it’s lightweight enough that I was able to hang it from a wire hook with no issues.It’s perfect as a nightlight and illuminated the room enough that I can navigate easily, and it’s so soothing that I passed out into a deep sleep with it on.It also charges really quickly (it only took an hour for me), and it lights up a faint red while charging and goes dark when it’s done.On top of all of this, there’s a little touch panel on the bottom that turns it on and cycles through the colors, so if you have trouble pressing buttons (bc accessibility is important here), you can just gently touch the pad on the bottom and get the different colors!I love it so much I’m probably going to buy another one soon so I have a set. I’ve attached a video to show the functionality and the colors. I put a 16oz water bottle between them so you could see the size. The larger one is the 5.9 inch lamp, and the smaller one is the 4.8 inch lamp. As I said in my earlier review, the smaller lamp pictured had an issue with the remote, which is the only reason it isn’t changing like the larger one. My son is ecstatic with this moon lamp now!Original review: I really wanted to love this, but the remote doesn’t work at all. I'm an adult guy with no kids, so first of all I admit this isn't for a baby or anything. Basically I just wanted something low light similar to a night light, but, well, not and something I could keep on my night stand. I was looking for fake candles and then came across this. I think it's awesome. Also, you can change it into many different colors with fade/etc., but I almost always just use the default white light (that makes it look most like the moon). Edit: I originally gave 1 star (read below why). Changing to 4 stars because of excellent customer service and a better quality moon lamp. Not changing to 5 stars because even my replacement moon has some quirks, but it is still a beautiful lamp, and the customer service was extremely kind. Reviewing the second moon lamp, which is a different model. For the inconvenience, the company then sent me a 5.8 inch moon lamp, which was SIGNIFICANTLY bigger. The remote that comes with this lamp has a timer function. You can also hang this moon from the ceiling, if you wanted (and the moon comes with some string to do it). The stand? Still wobbly and assembles strangely. The pegs won’t always fit all the way through, so this seems to be a consistent issue. The moon lamp turned on even while charging (this time with the remote, not on its own, so that’s a huge plus!) and turned off completely. It has a pad on the bottom that, I guess, should also turn it on if you pick it up, but that hasn’t worked for me, so I guess I’m still left without a fully functioning lamp, but it’s very pretty and my main complaint was the last one wouldn’t stop turning and changing colors so this is a major upgrade. Major kudos to the company for trying to make good on their sale and offering — on their own — to replace the item. If you want to buy a moon lamp from this seller, splurge and go for the bigger one. It has more functions, has better functionality, and fewer chances of malfunctioning. Even the instruction manual seems to be written better. Overall, I’m quite happy now with my moon lamp. :)This was such a disappointing buy. I'm not even going to give it 2 stars because there was nothing really redeeming about the purchase. The stand is wobbly (one of the holes is too small so the peg can't make it all the way in) so there's always a concern it's going to fall apart. The remote worked fine for, literally, only 2 minutes (received this today). If this matters to anyone, it only comes with a USB cable to charge. This was fine for me. It might not be for others. For anyone looking to buy a moon lamp: You'll see there are a couple of similar lamps and I would recommend splurging a little bit more for a smaller, but likely better functioning model. I received the lamp today and charged it and I was very excited about the lamp. First few minutes it was working great and it was absolutely beautiful. However, something was off: The light kept changing color. The lamp comes with a remote and it has a lot of settings, including flash and strobe. Even when those have not been pressed, the light for my unit will change. I wanted to keep it white, BUT suddenly, if I put it on my hand, it would change to red, then green, then go into an orange with the fade function, so there as no consistency. The only thing that seems to reset it momentarily is turning it off, then on again. Even then, the unit will eventually keep changing colors. It is pretty useless as a lamp, but may provide a little entertainment. Still, don't waste your money. Look into other options. There's lots of similar lamps on Amazon. Read reviews carefully. I failed to look at the other 1 star reviews this time and got burned... EDITING to add that it’s now 10x worst! The lamp won’t turn off! I turn it off with the remote and it’ll randomly turn back on! Read more

I got the largest size as a gift for my husband. He loves everything about it, except for 1)the fussy remote and 2)how long it holds a charge. It’s really a beautiful light that we both enjoy having in our living room. I found a lit sign that says “I love you to moon and back” and that sits next to it. It makes for a really nice look. The light glows against our flooring, great ambiance! I do wish I had gotten a smaller size. The large one looks awkward on an end table, especially during the day when it’s a big white ball.The remote is a pain. The buttons are fussy in that sometimes they don’t activate the lights, even when next to the light. The other issue is that it doesn’t hold a charge long. We like the option for changing colors slowly. I estimate we get 3-4 hours. That leads to not being able to use it nearly as often, due to recharging.I was torn between 3 or 4 stars. I gave it 4 because it’s so pretty, and because it was a great gift. But it’s kind of a frustrating item too, because of the 2 issues listed.
