This is my second time buying this product and I love it for my two little girls. My 4yr old has a lot of baby hair and this stuff works amazing when it’s time to get ready for school. This gel has worked great so far for our 1 year old. We bought it when he was 10 months to try and tame back his long hair that was falling into his face. It worked pretty well for that. We now use it to style his new haircut and it has a nice light to medium hold that keeps his hair in place without making it hard or crunchy. It seems gentle enough for baby skin too since he's never had any reaction to it on his head and neck. My husband laughed when I bought this because he said this is what they sold at Latino corner stores when he was growing up. I purchased this gel for my (almost) 2 year old daughter. I was looking for something natural and gentle but that would give her hair some hold. This product was perfect FOR US. As far as hold, it does keep her hair pretty much in place with some fly aways here and there. This was a happy medium for us because I would rather sacrifice max hold for a gentle product that is not harsh on my daughters hair, however, If you are looking for super maximum hold this is not the right product for you.Something else I liked is it does not leave hair looking fake "wet" and super gell-y if you catch my drift and it smells amazing.
