I have used many brands of fake tanner and got professional spray tans. I feel like everyone leaving bad reviews on this product must not use fake tanners very often. Yes, you will probably miss a few spots the first time and be a bit streaky. I don't think that is the products fault. I consider fake tan a two day process on "cheaper" methods like these wipes. I had not used this product for several months and had forgotten how wonderful it is. My mom had me search for it since Ulta stopped stocking it. It is foolproof and gives realistic natural looking color quickly. Looks like you had a day of light sunshine. LOVE the product. The wipes are easy to use (no tint) and a mild scent. As with any other self-tanner, apply body lotion first to knees, elbows, heels. My favorite self tanner! And I've tried a bunch! I'm a redhead - pale, but no freckles. This is a great color for me. Not too dark, not orange, just subtle bronze. I have 5-6 lotion tanning products in my cupboard that I’m ready to toss after using Sublime for 2-3 months. These towelettes are easy to use and I haven’t had any streaking problems. I follow the directions very carefully and even hold the towelette with a “tanning mit” to avoid my hands absorbing any product. Once or twice lightly over my arms, legs and face gives the best results. I often use only 1/2 a sheet at a time saving the other 1/2 tightly wrapped for 1-2 days later. If you’re unhappy with this product, give it another try following the directions carefully. I will never use anything but Sublime towelettes. Read more

A friend suggested these tanner towelettes. I decided to try them. I live in Ohio. Other than vacationing you can forget having a tan here. I’m 40 so being in a tanning bed is not what I want to do all the time. I wish I took a before and after photo but after one use my skin has really nice color. Very easy to apply. Doesn’t look fake or overly tan. I will definitely buy more. I also read that some people seal them up and keep using one towel for a week. I’m going to do that with vacuum seal bags. It’s nice to have a glow without my skin feeling dry, itchy, burned or peeling. I rated 3 stars on longevity because I’m not sure how long the color will last yet. Read more

I love THESE tanning wipes! I have used these tanning towelettes for years and I'm a huge fan. They give a very natural looking tan...not orange or fake looking like a lot of other products I've tried. I start out with my face, then do my chest, arms and legs. One towelette provides great coverage and I'm often asked where I go to tan - its that natural! In the winter, I generally just use them once per week to give myself a little bit of color, and about three per week in the summertime to have more of a golden brown look. Has the self tanner smell, also is not streak free. Says to let dry before dressing, but even after that if your skin touches for a couple minutes too long you will get streaking and spotting. Also seems to streak when water touches it. Won't be purchasing again.Edit: used them again and after some research says the best way to apply is in a circular motion. I am not sure if I got old stock but these left terrible streaks on my feet and legs, and a bit of an orange colour. I stopped using them. I've used tan towels in the past and I've used the liquid Sublime Bronze and never had this issue. Not impressed with this product. Read more
