This product contains coumarin which is known to cause skin hypersensitivity/allergic reaction on skin, liver damage if used regularly (skin is the largest organ in our body and skin products do go absorbed in the blood stream), and liver cancer. Unfortunately, I found this out almost a year after using it (purchased this in July 2018). My baby has been having random skin rash and not gaining weight. Pediatrician pointed out about Coumarin in this lotion after a million dollar work up on my child didn’t reveal any obvious cause. Fortunately, my child didn’t have liver problems may be because I didn’t use it more than once a week on him. Avoid it if possible. I have purchased this lotion from brick and mortar stores several times and it has a wonderful lavender/baby powder smell and is a very light lotion, not greasy at all. The bottle I received from my recent order is clearly completely different. The bottles look very similar but the product inside smells awful - like chemicals and mustiness and the lotion feels greasy and is more opaque than the real ones I have purchased at brick and mortar stores. I LOVE this stuff!!! I use to use baby magic on my little one every night long ago back in baby times and loved using it on my husbands feet after a long day. But as the years have past I've become more aware of chemicals and toxins and what have you, so I stopped using baby magic all together... (and have missed the smell and calming effect it had on me and my family). When I saw this I though I thought why not give it a shot its 97% plant based and paraben free. I couldn't decide between this lotion and the Aveeno Baby calming/lavender bedtime lotion, so I got both. I like them both for different reasons. This one smells better, but I think the Aveeno is slightly more gentle on my baby's sensitive skin. Both of them are non greasy and perfect for after the pre-bedtime bath. Read more

Start of by saying this smells so good. This is not as overwhelming as some others can be. Our baby goes right to sleep with just touch of this stuff. He smells so wonderful after a quick lather of the lotion. There is no issues with ingredients and I feel safe knowing there are using safe ingredients. Highly recommend! Read more
