These clips are overpriced for what they are. You get 6 metal alligator type hairclips. These clips have been covered in ribbon (glued on in a way that covers the clip teeth and makes it harder to keep them in your hair) and then had a fabric butterfly with a glittery center glued on top. They are pretty, my daughter loves them. They are not particularly 3D (the floppy fabric of the wings doesn't stay up) and they are not particularly durable. The wings do have a double layer of fabric, but they may as well have one layer as the 2 layers just rest on top of each other. Read more

I thought these would be too young for the tween, but she just loves them. She has very thick hair, and the fabric goes over the clip part, so we had the best results using those clear small elastics to pull back a section of hair and then looping those around the clip to keep it in place.So they're overpriced as far as usefulness goes, but they are cheerful and pretty and she loves to wear them.
