I purchased this on the recommendation of my pediatrician. She said to buy cornstarch over talc powder to use occasionally when changing my son (note: don't use either talc or cornstarch too much on your baby as they can breathe in the powder which may lead to respiratory problems. Only use a little sprinkle for the bottom – try to keep it away from their face and eyes). What's not to like about Baby Powder with Lavender & Chamomile. Both my husband and I enjoy the light fragrance of this all year long, but especially during the hot summer months. It is soothing to the skin and absorbs moisture. I know that it's comforting to babies, but even grown ups enjoy the relaxing comfort of cool dry skin. Hmmm, seems their formula changed. I like the FEEL of the new powder, feels silkier, but I liked the smell of the old formula better. Somehow this does not smell like lavender as much as the old formula. Somewhat disappointed. Read more

I used to use the original Johnsons Baby Powder made with talc, although it worked talc is incredibly terrible for one to use on themselves or their children, etc. Once I found this baby powder made of corn starch, I knew I found my answer. I had been looking at similar, more expensive alternatives, but I'm glad I got this product. I will never go back to a talc powder.
