This product taste good and does refresh your mouth, but I wouldn’t buy it again because it contains polysorbate 20, a cancer causing chemical. It’s ridiculous that they would even think about adding this chemical to something promoted as natural. It even comes with a big label warning you about about it. Like lead paint. Epic fail. This review is for the version with the cinnamon clove "flavor" - the most hideous thing I have tasted in decades, and I live in Pennsylvania.I don't think it's really possible to describe in words what kind of disaster this was, but I'll try.Imagine you are walking through Yosemite, and you come across a tall pine tree. You take a bite (yes, of the tree), and realize that this pine tree grew up in Lodi, NJ and to this day continues to wear too much Drakkar Noir. That's the closest I can come to describing the taste, but then again I don't have a discerning palate... anymore, possibly ever again. Then there was the aftertaste. Pure gag. My son thought I was having a seizure, and the potential was there. I'd rather have an anchovy pizza with extra dung.Someone mentioned a concern about Polysorbate 20. I've got to say, the risk of ingesting that is probably quite slim. Normal mouthwashes are designed to be spit back out. This mothwash goes far beyond that. The reflex is beyond Duran Duran. It will give you a six-pack in just a few uses. Your water bill will probably go up too.Listen to me on this one, when you put this in your mouth, you can't undo it. You've been warned. Read more

If you have gum or teeth problems, BUY THIS. Sometime around 2008, I developed an infection in a tooth that destroyed a small piece of bone around the root of a molar. By the time I got it taken care of, the endodontist told me that there was so little bone left to hold the tooth in, I'd likely lose it. I opted to try and save it. Spoiler alert: I still have the tooth.I remembered that my dentist would pack my teeth with clove oil as a disinfectant and anti-bacterial treatment when doing a filling, so when i left the endodontist, I picked up a tube of Tom's Clove and Cinnamon toothpaste, and a bottle of this mouth wash. I used them both religiously ever since, and though I was told I'd be lucky to keep that tooth for 6 months, it's been almost 7 years and it's still with me, and the crown even fell out once and they put it back in, and no infection! I totally credit this mouthwash and clove toothpaste combo for my good gum and teeth health. You also use this in diluted form, so when you buy 1 bottle, depending on how much you dilute it (I go with 2:1) you will get 2 bottles worth of product, which also makes it an amazing value. The taste is quite strong, but it doesn't linger too long, and it doesn't burn your mouth at all. Read more

Ok, so I recently had to completely change my oral hygeien products because I found out I was allergic to sodium lauryl sulfate. My mouth was always peeling and I didn't know why. Well, that was why. I switched toothpastes and also to this mouthwash. At first try, I immediately spit it out and was like what the heck is this?! I thought it tasted terrible and really just wasn't expecting it, as I've always used crest prohealth and was expecting something more like that. Even though I was hesitant I kept using it and im so glad I did because I absoloutely love it. I love the taste now. It leaves my mouth so fresh and a clean that lasts throughout the day. I've been using Jason toothpaste and this mouthwash for several months and just had my dental cleaning and the dentist used the word "impecable" when telling me about my teeth. Yay! My breath is so fresh and it lasts all through the night and hours after I use it in the morning. It says on the bottle that it is concentrated, so you can lessen the strong taste by diluting with water when you pour it into the cap. It'll also last longer that way. I like the strong taste now though. I do wish that they had an option of this with fluoride in it. I know some people don't like that but I would prefer it. Read more

I do not like mint. I also like natural products. I've also had some problems with dental health, the army was not kind in the amount of fillings they required of me... so I've been looking for a healthy option for mouthwash with tea tree oil because I've heard of it's awesome properties! The reviews are really too-good-to-be-true and unreal.. "healed my cavities" and stuff. I don't use this regularly enough to see any magical results but i CAN say that my mouth feels clean for at least 10 hours after using this. even with drinking juice and eating.. 5 stars easy!! Started using this because of the tea tree oil in it. My last dentitst visit the hygenist said "I don't know what your homecare is but, keep doing it!" She was impressed with how little plaque and tarter there was. First time she ever said that to me, my gums feel healthier, too. And truthfuly, I very seldom floss. The cinnamon and clove taste is a plus for me. I hate regular mouthwash. A bottle lasts quite a while because you only need a very small amount to swish in your mouth. I use this with the Jason tea tree toothpaste. Will keep using this for sure. Read more

We are typically big fans of natural products, especially since our family has several food allergies. We received the mouthwash today. Three family members used the product before I looked at it and saw there was filimentous and chunky particulate in the mouthwash. They all poured it into separate cups prior to use, so I know it’s not backwash. I am a concerned about the sterility of the product and whether it is contaminated with bacteria and the impact it may have on my family that used it. None of the other reviews mentioned the particles, so I have serious concerns and reservations about the product. Read more

For ages I was trying to find a natural mouthwash without alcohol inside it and all I can say is I love this product it is so refreshing and when I use it with my oral irrigator it cleanses my mouth properly. This is way better than Alcohol based mouthwashes. Read more

I was looking for a cruelty free mouthwash that wasn't mint as I dislike the taste and smell of mint.I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews regarding the taste being too strong or horrible but decided to give it a try...it has my name on what could go wrong ?Nothing it seems...taste is fine ... Mouth feels fresh after using itObviously I can't comment yet on how it is working on my gums etc but if I don't update this in a month or two and have bought another bottle it is doing its job. This is the strongest and most pleasant mouthwash I've experienced. It's got a great taste with plenty of punch to knock out the morning grime and furriness!I bet even the worst form of dog breath would be kindled and neutralised with 30 seconds of gargling from back to front, and a good brush! Works really well, you mainly gurgle with it. I have tried many mouth washes this is quite effective. In regards to the taste it’s not that bad. It’s not made to taste wonderful it’s made to freshen your breathe and it does that well Read more

Bought this as I wanted something more natural than Listerine and a less garish bottle for the bathroom. I did manage to get used to the taste in the end, and liked the look of the bottle but started getting quite a few little infections in my mouth that hurt (used for around 2 months). These went away as soon as I switched back to Listerine. My dentist also advised that even though clove oil is often recommended, it actually burns your gums so should be avoided.Doesn't work, would definitely not recommend. Shame because I really wanted to like this! Read more
