My husband and I swaddled our son for about the first 4 months and then we just had him sleeping without a blanket in heavy pajamas- Our son is very hot natured and the pajamas didn't work out. We then began covering him with a blanket that he would kick off many times during the night leaving us waking up in shifts to recover him with. Our house is old and difficult to keep perfectly climate controlled so we were always worried about him being too hot or too cold. After getting this sleep sack our son is sleeping on average 1 1/2 hours longer than before since he no longer wakes up uncomfortable. I have a niece or nephew due at the end of this year, and he or she is getting a sleep sack in every size! I wish I had of known about these wonderful things when we brought him home from the hospital. Read more

I love all of the Halo sleep sacks and we use them from birth until about 2 years old. They are excellent and we all sleep soundly knowing our babies are warm and not wound around a bunch of blankets that will either fall off or perhaps suffocate. Excellent product. Zippers always work, pilling is minimal, warm enough for general purpose sleeping. Sometimes I might add an extra layer underneath, but for the most part, this is perfect on top of regular old fashioned pajamas! Read more

I ordered this sleep sack in Large and the 2T-3T for my son who is just growing out of his 18 month clothes now and getting into 24 mo or 2T stuff. Even the Large size for 22-35"/22-28lbs is huge. I'll be returning the bigger one because I don't think he will wear it until he's 10, haha! My advice is to consider the sizing to fit the legs within the sack even if you sealed off the feet holes. The crotch reaches their foot level (give or take). The good news is that I see it being a product that lasts a long time as they grow and that crotch rises upwards to the calf, knee, and thigh. I'm one of those moms that worries a lot about giving a blanket to our children. Specially if they are under 2. This is great because it kept our boys warm and safe at the same time. It was a bit big for my 18 months old son, but he grew into it and it turned out to be good that it was a big large because he's still using it. Read more

We loved the sleep sack for when our little one is a baby and I love that they make one for walkers. It does run big near the torso area, but I think that it's good because not only is there room to grow, but I also don't want something super snug since you wear it over pjs. It's so comforting to know that on cold nights my little one is warm and cozy in this as opposed to having kicked off the covers. A great invention! I just placed an order for a 2nd one. Read more

I bought a 2T-3T for my 16 month old who is currently wearing 18mo clothes at 26 lbs, thinking it would be a little big and he could grown into it. I also have a 3 year old (37 1/2 in, 31 lbs), wearing 3T. This is huge for the 3 year old. I can't say I'd get a smaller size, because I don't know what I'd get, but they can grow into this. Love the fabric and the idea, as we live in Alaska and take the kids to a remote cabin in the woods where it can get kind of chilly. Read more

I usually love the Halo Sleepsacks. This one came with a weird smell that bugs me a lot. I washed it several times and the smell is still around. I think it is what they treat the material with so its more flame-retardant. You should buy it cause these are great for your kids, but if you get one with a weird smell send it back before you toss all the packaging. Read more

I was so excited for this so my son could walk in it at night. But sleeping has been an issue. One leg will poke out but the other will get stuck inside. He has woken up a few times from it. We've put in a drawer for when he's a bit older- he's only 2.5 now.It runs really big! My son is swimming in his!!! Buy a size or 2 down. Read more
