Bought this for my 3 and 5 year old to swing on, little did I know that within three weeks the swing would break away from the chain and send both kids tumbling to the ground. My daughter put her left arm out to catch herself and we just spent the evening in Urgent Care seeing if we needed to get her X-rays from the swelling. This swing came assembled minus the seat attachment. A normal person would assume that considering it was a child's toy it was assembled safely (in hindsight I should have checked) but no one ever tightened all four lock nuts that hold the chain to the swing. They were just barely started and never snugged. They're LOCK NUTS, THEY HAVE TO BE TIGHTENED more than hand tight. The manufacturer is lucky my daughter came away with just a swollen and bruised arm and nothing more, otherwise there would be much more to deal with than a bad review on Amazon. Read more

We had an old tandem swing that was faded in the sun and suspended from ropes That thing tho was indestructible and could hold an adult. This POS swing has a seam between the top and the bottom parts of the seat and this runs all along where the top and bottom meet. This is a VERY WEAK spot, and the top part/ the seat caved in under just a couple of uses for my 3 and 5 y.o.!!! I hate this POS b/c it was pricey and was a pain to hang up. Now I have to replace it -- it is not only caved in but always full of rainwater which gets into the seam and us super heavy and the rain water spills out! This happened literally a couple of weeks into my kids' use of it. What a bummer. Do not recommend. Read more

I have four kids and very dumbly bought a swingset that only had two swings. Every day was an argument over who got to swing at what time and what kid I was pushing, and I was about ready to just order an entirely new swingset. But enter this beauty who saved my life. It was extremely easy to assemble and install on our swingset, and our kids love it! I researched gliders until I was blue in the face. It's so hard to weed through the reviews and specifications and make that final decision. We went with this one for a few reasons- it got great reviews, with many reviewers remarking on the durability, it had two places for little feet so my tall 3.5yr old and shorter 2yr old can both be comfortable, it had coated chains, it's the same brand as the brackets we bought, and, of course, the price was right. Unfortunately, our problems started before we even hung it. My husband had a hard time getting it together and he could never get it completely straight. I didn't notice this until he hung it (he was hoping it would straighten up when he hung it). So he sat on one end and tried to swing to see if it went crooked while swinging- as soon as he picked his feet up the seat buckled underneath him (he is an average size- weighs maybe 165lbs). Needless to say this was quite frustrating and while we realized it wasn't meant for adults, so many reviewers mentioned it holding an adult and we've sat on a glider at another house that held us (separately) with no problem. I called Amazon and, as usual, their customer service representative was helpful and offered a full refund and free label to print to return the defective swing. It was a hassle to have to take the swing down and disassemble it, but when we spent that much money on a swing we were hoping for it to last. So we returned this swing and purchased the back to back glider by creative playthings (also sold on Amazon) instead. Ultimately, this swing may have stood up to our young children swinging on it for years, but the thing that frustrated me most is the difficulty in getting a clear weight limit on the product in all of my research. Great product! The directions tell you to tighten all bolts prior to installation; this may explain why others had difficulty. They needed to be tightened, as indicated. You basically need to run two bolts through pre-drilled holes to put the swing together. The holes aligned well, which is not often the case with children’s products. The braces for the swing set were also quality. I have a different brand of swing set and needed to drill one hole for each brace through the beam. The whole process took under and hour and my kids love the swing. I feel completely safe with the installation and quality of the product. Read more

My grandchildren love it (a 7-year-old girl and two 4-year-old boys)! I already had a one-rider glider that I bought about five years ago, but they were always competing for turns on it. So I bought this one, and now two can ride at a time, back to back. I think that they feel even a little more stability with their backs against each other, rather than leaning against the plastic back of the one-person glider.The only negative is that it’s more physical exertion for me to swing two at a time, and I can’t swing them as high as I could swing one child. Pushing two children at a time really wears out my shoulders. The kids love it, though, and I can’t argue with that. Read more
