I bought 2 of these to use on our strollers at a theme park. I have a newborn and here in the south, it gets way too humid for him to be without circulating air. These little fans move a surprisingly decent amount of air, and I like the soft foam blades just in case my son grabs them. I do wish the clip worked a little better for stroller/carseat use, and the base is pretty heavy, so I took one star off of the lightweight rating. Obviously with the clip holding 2 batteries, it is bound to have a little weight, but I am unable to attach it on the hood of my infant carrier/stroller like I’d like to, because the weight pulls it down. This fan was purchased after doing a lot of research on battery powered fans. We needed to have two fans for our kids in the back seats during the summer months to cool them down faster since they're mainly rear facing. The packaging came looking like a cheaper mall kiosk fan but was doable. The fan itself:The unit runs on 2 AA batteries. We're using rechargeable Duracell 2100 batteries and they last around 3-4 hours total use. We tend to keep the fans in the car in the heat and are on in spurts of between 5 minutes to 25 minutes over the course of a week.They blow a nice steady breeze from about 2ft away. The fan blades are soft foam and I have no worries about either child putting their fingers in the blades (which they have done multiples times) and have no injuries. The fans stop and restart as they remove their fingers. The clip on the bottom is super strong and has no issues hanging anywhere, for the most part. The tube from the base to the fan is a tad cheap feeling, but has lasted with no issues. The battery cover is secured with a single philips screw and holds it tightly. Don't over tighten the screw though, it will crack the battery cover, but the cover will still stay for a little while.We are disappointed in a few things. First the fan is only single speed so there's no Lo or Hi setting, but we really didn't expect one with this unit. The bottom battery. Being that the fan blades are foam, they're not super durable if the children get ahold of the fan itself. I've been able to bend most blades back to where they should be, but you can tell they aren't spinning evenly anymore. The fan blades also have a few nicks out where the baby has gotten ahold of the fan and torn pieces out. Dropping the fan doesn't necessarily stop it from working, but it will also bend the fan blades.Overall the fan works great. I would have given the fan 4 stars if it wasn't for some of the cheap feeling of the fans, but I like them a lot. We have purchased the zebra print and the orange one. Read more

We got these for Disney in July. Did they force so much air over me that I was cold....no. However I will say that I used it the entire time. it was a small breeze and was just the correct amount. It was very light weight and I only had to change the AA batteries one time over the 4 days I was there. I am not sure if they were actually dead, but I felt as if the air was slowing down and changed it. I sweat a lot and this small breeze felt good. If there is a natural wind then you probably will not feel it, but in Florida and specifically at Disney, it felt good. Not bad for this price and I liked the AA batteries compared to Lithium internal batteries. I could just take it out and change it as needed instead of waiting for a charge. Read more

Great little fan. So glad we had this for our hawaii trip. It was useful for the whole trip. Bring extra batteries if you will use it as much as we did. We used it in the plane to and from hawaii as it was hot. We used it at the beach. We used it while hiking. My 16 week old baby was overheating and I packed a manual fan and the clip on fan and both were a must for a beach vacation. 4 star as we had to change the battery after 2 days of use. If you want it to blow stronger, you will need a new battery. Otherwise, it doesn't blow cold air. The fans are foam so when I stuffed it in the diaper bag, it wasn't a hassle. Cute fan. The screw for the battery casing is annoying, and wish the flexible neck was a little longer. I love the soft blades, keeps baby entertained, she has not torn them off yet as other reviews stated. The clip is decent, could be stronger. Overall not a bad product. Works great and I get compliments all the time. Got us comfortably through a trip to new Orleans in July. I've had a similar one where the fan blades are plastic and are inside a plastic fan cage-- but I prefer this fan. The other fan is so top heavy that unless you have the perfect place to clip it it will always fall over. Also, forget putting the heavy kind on a table unless the fan is perfectly balanced. This one I was able to put on the outdoor table at cafe du monde with no problem (except for blowing powdered sugar around!). This one also fell over a time or two, either from clipping it on a small area or from knocking it over, but the fan blades stop very, very easily and don't hurt anything they touch. Read more

I got this for our beach vacation, and am so glad I did. As a first time mom, I try to avoid gimmicks that are often geared toward my demographic, but this purchase has proven worthy! It's not perfect - the battery compartment requires a small screwdriver to open/close, it takes a couple tries to turn it on sometimes, and it feels a bit flimsy overall, but it works!! The blades are soft foam, and stop easily if any thing comes in contact. The clip is sturdy to attach to the stroller, and the fan neck pivots for positioning.
