Not just for babies bum's. Any place you have chapped or raw skin this product is great. My doctor recommended for when I got hemorrhoids and my bum area was extra sensitive to help ease that area. Also worked great for under the breast area that got raw due to sweating and working out and my bra strap rubbed me raw. The only drawback is that it is an ointment so it is greasy feeling so not going to be able to use it everywhere. The odor is distinctive but not unpleasant or super mediciney smelling. Read more

My husband is a below the knee amputee and this is the ONLY ointment recommended to use on his stump before putting on the silicone sleeve. He has NO problems with chafing, pinching or skin irritants while wearing his prosthetic for 10 hours a day. He has extremely sensitive skin. The only complaint is that it's super thick and sticky. The best diaper rash ointment on the market! The original is the best. I use it to prevent rashes at bedtime and anytime his bottom becomes irritated! He's almost 2 years old and he's maybe only had two really bad rashes and both occurred when he was 9 months old and we switched to adding baby food to his diet and he had bad diarrhea, but it was only the day because of course describe relieved the issue quickly. Notes for new moms though...make sure your little ones bottoms are dry before applying. The wet wipes you use to clean your little ones bottoms can prevent the cream from blocking moisture out.
