These are an absolute lifesaver. I had a cracked tooth with an exposed nerve that needed a root canal and crown. My dentist rescheduled my visit several times due to equipment issues and I ended up using these for about a month to control the excruciating pain (which any amount of OTC pain relievers and strong RX pain medications didn't even take the edge off of the pain). The size of the applicators made it possible for me to apply the benzocaine directly onto the exposed area down deep, which was phenomenal.
