I am one of those people who has never written a review on this or any site. So. This product was recommended to me by my hairstylist for thin, weak hair. I love Davines products and was willing to bite the bullet for this product, at nearly $60. Very frustrating to receive a product that seems to have been opened. The box looked okay but the bottle inside was dusty, had no seal on the cap and is VERY noticeably low on the liquid inside. Most frustrating is that when I went to return it, I find I cannot due to certain "restrictions on liquids". Well, someone returned it, somewhere. I see reviews like this a lot on Amazon and I just cannot fathom how one of the largest, most successful companies in the world cannot figure out how to have more quality control. I'm a 22 year old woman dealing with stress-related hair loss (thanks pandemic), and this stuff is AMAZING! I seriously had clumps of hair coming out in the shower or when I brushed, which has never happened to me before. I got checked out and don't have any health issues, so I tried switching up my products. I've been using the Davines Energizing Shampoo, Nourishing Conditioner, and this serum for about two months, and WOW. My hair is so much softer, stronger, and has literally grown about an inch, which would've taken me months and months before. After getting out of the shower and towel drying my hair, I use one or two droppers full of this, applied directly to the scalp, and then lightly massage it in. It's not an oil at all, so it doesn't do anything to the look or feel of your hair - you just leave it on & let it do its thing. It feels sort of cold and tingly for about 20 minutes, which I actually really like! Smells like essential oils / botanicals. Was recommended to me by my hair stylist because of my fragile hair due to a hormonal change. I use it about every other day just to make it last a little longer. Smells and feels invigorating -- has a very strong mint/eucalyptus/herbal smell. I love it. I've definitely seen a change in the strength of my hair. I've been using it for about 4 months. Anyone with thin/thinning hair this is a must!!I’m a Licensed Cosmetologist and would never say this if it weren’t true.It’s not like the Old hair thinning remedies.It will take a while for you to notice the difference. One bottle last me about 5 months ( I shampoo about every 3/4 days).Going on with my daily,monthly routines (on the beginning of my 3rd bottle) I’m getting my hair done and my Hair Stylist noticed how much thicker my hair is. I just received one. Contrary to previous comment the bottle was full. However the bottle cap was broken, I am not sure it is totally watertight.Also, one of the major problem of this product is that it does not feel "genuine". There is no security on the bottle. It could totally have been opened by someone and the have its liquid replaced. For a 60 dollar bottle, that is not acceptable. (And you cannot event return it from here!)I definitely won't buy it here again, and strongly advise you against it if you want to be sure of what you get for your money. Read more

I love this so much.I have oily scalp and because of that my hair tends to fall out and this has helped a lot. I’ve been using this for years and for the first time in my life my hair is 26 inches long! I couldn’t grow it pass 20 inches, never!If you don’t like minty feeling, this one is not for you. This is kinda strong, so strong that I love to use it when I have a headache lol it relieves the pain! Seriously. Ho scoperto il marchio Davines su suggerimento di addetti ai lavori.. è un marchio italiano che produce prodotti di alta qualità (e che costano pure molto). In particolare questa lozione promette di aiutare a contrastare la perdita di capelli per chi come me ne soffre per fattori genetici.. Come si applica? dopo aver fatto lo shampoo con capelli ancora umidi bisogna applicare questa lozione sul cuoio capelluto e lasciarla asciugare naturalmente fino a quando la si sente agire... il primo mese a giorni alterni, il mese successivo per 2 volte a settimana.. Che effetto da dopo l'applicazione? si sente un bruciore sul cuoio capelluto! a questo punto non vi spaventate, anche se si arrossa il cuoio capelluto.. a quanto pare la perdita di capelli per fattori ormonali maschili avviene proprio a causa della mancanza di circolazione sanguigna sul cuoio capelluto, e questo bruciore misto ad arrossamento sembra sia proprio indicativo del fatto che è stata riattivata la circolazione stessa. Si, ma funziona? Beh io mi son preso un po' di tempo prima di rispondere.. sono al mese di 'mantenimento'.. Purtroppo non ho avuto miracoli! :) i capelli sembrano stare grossomodo come quando ho cominciato, ma sembrano più FORTI.. e soprattutto già che non ho avuto peggioramenti, è forse un risultato? La cosa certa è che Davines è un marchio di cui ci si può fidare ed affidare, e a dirla tutta secondo me questa lozione ha anche la sua efficacia, ma purtroppo per far ricrescere i capelli persi servono ben altri trattamenti..
