I was surprised at how small these were when I opened the package. They do, in fact, measure 7" X 9" as advertised but this is much smaller than the average dishcloth which typically measures about 10" or 11" square (see photos). They are fairly absorbent for their size but they by no means can absorb as much liquid as a regular dishcloth. They are also pretty thin and don't stack up nearly as high as shown in the listing photo. They are advertised as dishcloths and cleaning wipes. As dishcloths they fail miserably. As cleaning wipes they are adequate and a decent substitute for paper towels. I did not rate them for durability since I haven't used them enough to make a valid assessment. They are very soft but I don't know that softness is a needed attribute for a dishcloth/cleaning wipe. Read more

When I first received this product, my first inclination was to return it because of the size. But i thought I should try it before I made that decision - which was a good thing! Even though small, I LOVE the absorbency and everything else about them. I rated gift 3* mainly because giving dish cloths doesn’t seen like a good gift. I am going to give some of mine to my daughter. Durability I gave 5* and I’m not sure about that because I have only had them a week. If I find they are not, I will review my review!I still love this product - cannot believe how many paper towels I have had to use. I use these for counter clean up, dishes, and hand towel in kitchen. They are SO absorbent. Just don’t use water softener when you wash them because that ruins the absorbency. This is my second order. - and the one and only problem I haves had with this product (and it is my problem), I keep throwing the white ones away because they are small and sometimes I just throw them out because I thought it was a paper towel.
